West Virginia Thespian Festival
For the WV Thespian Festival, Savannah was involved with the sound portion of the event. She along with a few others helped with hookup, wiring, patching and mixing live for the events that happened in the Lyell B. Clay concert theatre. She also was involved with two workshops that were held for the high schoolers, one being a Qlab workshop and the other being a ‘Micing an Actor’ workshop!
This year the West Virginia Thespian Festival was held at West Virginia University and in turn, us technical theatre and design majors volunteered to give a helping hand to run lights, sound, scenery and many other department for the 3-day festival. The Thespian Festival consisted of workshops, competition, booths and many other things for the high schools involved, there were over 600 high school students that attended the festival!
